#Tess Moved In
Tess and I decided to move in together at the start of the year. We packed up her place in Noe Valley and she and EJ came to live with me.
#Japan, Spring Edition
Tess, EJ, and I took a trip to Japan during the last week of March and first week of April. It was Erin’s first time in Japan. We saw lots of sights, enjoyed the cherry blossoms, and had a great time with friends.
#Alberta
In August, I traveled to Calgary and Banff with a group of high school friends. We hiked up some mountains, went cave diving, saw several waterfalls, and generally had a great time.
Tess wanted to come, but came down with COVID the week before. Unfortunately that also meant she was stuck at home alone for her birthday. :(
#Japan, Fall Edition
Tess and I took another trip to Japan in the fall this year. I spent the first week studying iaidō with a group from my local dojo and some people in Japan. Tess had a work meeting during the second week, and I joined her for the tail end of that once I was done with swords.
#Anna’s Wedding
In December, Tess and I traveled to Arizona for my sister’s wedding. It was at Lost Dutchman State park, at the foot of a large rock formation. My dad performed the ceremony. The wedding was extremely small, just immediate family, followed by dinner out.
