I’m currently living in San Francisco with Tess, our daughter Erin, and my two cats.

#Watching

Tess and I finished our rewatch of The West Wing – a welcome escape from the horrible reality of contemporary US politics.

I’m all caught up on Shrinking now. This is one I watched on my own. It’s a delightful heart-felt character drama that touches on some complicated, difficult feelings around grief and community.

We’ve started watching season 5 of For All Mankind on Apple TV+. We’ve been big fans of this series so far.

#Reading

I finished A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers and picked up the next one, Record of a Spaceborn Few.

I’ve been making my way through New and Selected Poems, Volume One, by Mary Oliver. I read a few chosen randomly each night. This book was a gift from my dad for my birthday. We share a love of Mary Oliver’s poetry.

#Highlights

In 2026:

• I attented my younger sister’s wedding in Arizona. Tess, Erin, and I attended the reception in January. It was Erin’s first trip to my home state.
• I celebrated my 10 year anniversary at Apple.

In May 2026:

• I finished Japanese 1B at CCSF. Looking forward to taking Japanese 2A and Beginning Kanji in the fall.
• I took a trip with Tess, my sister and her husband, and my parents to Amsterdam. We saw approximately 7 million tulips, and had a great time!
• I tested for and passed my shodan rank exam at my Iaidō dōjō.
