I was standing on a neighborhood street corner recently and spotted this sign hiding behind a parked car across the street. When the car moved, I snapped this photo.

It’s kind of a curious thing, isn’t it? It’s an advertisement for Coke on a low traffic residential corner that seems to have been there for a long time. (It looks old.) It got me wondering what that corner was like 50 or 100 years ago. Clearly the owner of the building has maintained it too: the paint has been touched up here and there, and someone added the green frame at some point.
