A very busy week.

#Doing

This week was WWDC and it was an exciting week for me and my team. We released a new app called Passwords to help people manage their passwords. This was a huge amount of effort for the whole team, and I’m proud of what we accomplished. I also got to participate in labs for authentication engineering and accessible design. 🎉

Over the weekend, I traveled home to visit my family. My sister invited the family and a couple friends to see the White Sox play the Diamondbacks. I was also home to vist my dad for Father’s Day on Sunday. Mom and I went on daily walks with the dog and played backgammon, something I have fond memories of doing when I was young.

Arizona is incredibly hot in the summer. It had been years since I’d been there during the summer months and I’d forgotten just how extreme it was. At least it’s a dry heat, ha ha ha.

I’ve been learning Japanese on Duolingo the last few months. I completed Section 2 of the current course. すこし日本語ができます!

I’m working on a new design for this website. I’d like to try some different layouts, and explore typography and layout design ideas for the web. I’m also digging into Hugo’s theming and module support to better understand how that works.

I’ve been building a lot of random things in Blender. I’m learning a lot about 3D modeling, mesh topology, lighting, and so on. I’m enjoying the mix of engineering and art.
